Amy and Jack’s Seckford Hall wedding was the most beautiful autumn celebration. October had the trees around Seckford Hall in gorogeous shades of orange, and the soft, cloudy skies created the dreamiest light all day long.
It was crisp, a little chilly, but perfectly dry. The kind of autumn day that feels calm and romantic from the very beginning.
Bridal prep is always better when you are surrounded by familiar faces. I was working alongside the wonderful Occasions and Celebrations again, who created the most elegant setting for the day. The decor was timeless and refined, with beautiful white florals and deep emerald chair sashes that added richness and depth to the space without overpowering it. It felt classic, stylish and completely in keeping with Seckford Hall.
And whenever Joanna Plimmer is there for makeup, I know it is going to be a good morning. She brings such a calm presence to prep, and Amy looked absolutely radiant.
Amy may genuinely be one of the most relaxed brides I have worked with in 2025. She was so calm and present, simply excited to marry Jack. That was until she opened her gift from him. A few tears made an appearance . It was such a beautiful, heartfelt moment and I quickly realised this wedding was going to be full of emotion.
Then it was Jack’s turn. When he opened Amy’s gift and read her note, he completely cracked. Even more than she had. It was so sincere and so them. They are the sweetest couple and their love is incredibly open.
The emotion carried straight into the ceremony. As we waited for Amy to walk down the aisle, you could see everything building for Jack. The anticipation was written all over his face. By the time Amy appeared, the tears were flowing again. It was wholesome and completely genuine. Nothing felt staged. It was simply two people who adore each other, standing in front of their favourite people.
After the ceremony, you could feel the nerves melt away. The celebration truly began.
We went straight into the confetti shot, where Nan very subtly introduced some colourful confetti that may not have been entirely venue approved. But honestly, it was brilliant. It added so much joy and movement to the photos and made that moment even more memorable. Sometimes Nan's just know.
Although the air was chilly, guests were able to enjoy drinks and canapés outside in the stunning grounds. The orange trees surrounding Seckford Hall made the most incredible backdrop for this Seckford Hall wedding reception. Leanna on the saxophone created the perfect atmosphere, filling the gardens with amazing music while everyone relaxed into the afternoon.
When it came to portraits, I had one of the easiest jobs ever. Amy and Jack are so natural together. There was no awkwardness and very little direction needed. They simply laughed, walked and held each other close as we explored the grounds. Some of my favourite images from this Seckford Hall wedding came from those quiet moments beneath the autumn trees.
The evening brought heartfelt speeches, full of tears and laughter. Then the dance floor opened and nobody disappointed. The energy was incredible and I captured so many brilliant dancing shots. We also did a two minute dance floor photo rush which went down so well and produced so many fun, high energy images of Amy, Jack and their guests.
As my coverage was coming to an end, the day finished with an incredible firework display by Dynamic Fireworks. Watching the sky light up above Seckford Hall felt like the perfect ending to such an emotional and joy filled day.
Amy and Jack, thank you for having me there to capture your day. It was full of love, laughter and the happiest tears. What a beautiful way to begin your marriage. 🤍
