My love for capturing important moments doesn't stop at weddings; I'm there to document milestones too. A newborn session is the perfect way to document your tiny bundle of joy. They grow so quickly that you will want to freeze this special time in your family's life and have beautiful photos to look back on in years to come - remembering their tiny toes, cute noses, and sleepy faces. Even your little ones will love seeing photos of themselves when they get older!

The Process

Planning:

We will discuss your due date, and from there start to pencil in some dates. However, we all know that sometimes little ones like to come earlier or later! So it is absolutely fine if we need to move dates around. 

Newborn photography sessions usually take place within the first 2 months of, although I suggest having your newborn sessions about 2 weeks after your baby is born. This means they're still tiny and sleepy for those cosy curled up photos.

Where:

Newborn sessions can take place in your own home. I love being able to capture and tell your family's story, plus, it is mostly likely the best environment for you to feel relaxed during the shoot!

Please do not feel like you have to clean the house from top to bottom for your session! All we need is a bed or sofa and a window to create your beautiful photos, and I will help move what we need to achieve this!

Preparation:

Make sure your home is nice and warm, and if possible, try feeding about 20-30mins before I arrive. We want your baby to feel as comfortable and settled as possible while capturing these very special moments.
