Cute newborn morning with Baby Riley! Newborn photographer, in Essex

I had the pleasure of photographing Laura, Luke, and their sweet newborn, Riley. I had previously worked with Laura's brother and his family. There’s something special about being invited into a family’s life based on the trust and positive experience of someone else.

The shoot took place on a rather gloomy July morning (with a fair bit of rain), with the clouds hanging overhead and the sun staying hidden, but that didn’t stop us from having a great time. Baby Riley was perfectly calm throughout the session, making it easy to capture those quiet, meaningful moments between him and his parents. The weather eventually cleared up, and we were able to take some photos outside in the garden!

We got some beautiful family shots, full of warmth and connection, and it was so nice to see how comfortable and happy they all were together. It’s always an honour to photograph such an intimate moment in a family’s life, and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it.

Thank you again Laura, Luke, and Riley for letting me be a part of such a special time in your lives. I can’t wait to see how Riley grows and look forward to capturing more moments with this wonderful family in the future!
